Solo Episode #1 – Seasonal Promotions
Seasonal promotions are a great way to give your business an immediate cash flow injection, boost, improve customer retention and give you the warm and fuzzies.
That being said having the mental bandwidth to think of how to run them and what offers to provide can be exhausting especially around this time of year when you’ve already got so much on your plate.
That’s why I’ll be giving you a couple of ideas you can implement within your business without to much hassle
In order for these offers to be effective they must be valuable and have people wanting to take action immediately.
Types of offers that work well
- Time Sensitive – offers that are valid till a specific date
- Quantity Specific – For the first x orders
- Giving people credits they can use for specific ranges of products/services – This will give people the emotional connection that you’ve already gifted them something of value of which they’ll want to reciprocate your generosity.
Bonus points if you couple some of these together.
So who and when should you offer these promotions to, the people most likely to take action are those who’ve been past customers or people who are currently ordering from you.
Another cost effective way to boost customer loyalty especially is to give people a small gift when they checkout.
It could be something as small as a little gift for children when they come to checkout with kids or if they’re online you can email them a credit for a range of products that they can use by a specific date set by yourself.
